On the 16th and 17th of February, the Women’s Futsal team of the Academic Association of the University of Minho (AAUMinho), composed of ten players, participated in the 2nd North Concentrated Day, in Coimbra. In three games played, the Minho team remained intact, adding only victories.
On the first day of the competition, the formation of the Minho Academy held and won two games, by 1-0. In the morning, the team faced the Academic Association of the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, while, in the afternoon, it was time to play against the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra.
On the 17th, the AAUMinho athletes strengthened their dominance, winning the Academic Association of the University of Beira Interior, by 3-0.
In two rounds, with five games played, AAUMinho had four wins and only one defeat, which reflects its effectiveness and quality. In this way, the team will be present in the 2nd phase of the competition, in Leira, on March 7th and 8th.
