From the 14th to the 16th of March, the National University Championship of Padel took place in Águeda, Aveiro, and AAUMinho was present with a female team, two mixed teams and two male teams.
The women’s team, made up of Sofia Carvalho and Victoria Abreu, won three of the four games they played, with the following results:
- NOVA 0 – 2 AAUMinho
- AAUMinho 0 – 2 U. Porto
- NOVA 2 0 – 2 AAUMinho
- AEIST 0 – 2 AAUMinho
Regarding mixed, the AAUMinho team, composed of Victoria Abreu and Carlos Oliveira, won three of the four games in which it competed, with the following results:
- U. Porto 5 2 – 0 AAUMinho
- NOVA 0 – 3 AAUMinho
- AAUMinho 2 – 0 U. Porto 4
- AAUMinho 0 – 2 AAUMinho 2
The AAUMinho 2 team, formed by Sofia Carvalho and Pedro Alves, participated in six disputes and had four victories, with the following results:
- AAUMinho 2 2 – 0 AEIST
- U. Porto 2 – 0 AAUMinho 2
- P. Leiria 0 – 2 AAUMinho 2
- AAUMinho 0 – 2 AAUMinho 2
- AAUMinho 2 2 – 0 U. Porto 5
- U. Porto 3 2 – 0 AAUMinho 2
In the men’s team, the AAUMinho team, made up of Carlos Oliveira and José Ferreira, won three of the five games they played, with the following results:
- AAUMinho 3 – 0 AAC 3
- U. Porto 2 – 0 AAUMinho
- AAUMinho 0 – 2 AEISA 2
- AAUTAD 0 – 2 AAUMinho
- AEFDUCP 0 – 2 AAUMinho
In turn, the AAUMinho 2 team, composed of Gonçalo Mendes and Pedro Alves, participated in four games and won two, with the following results:
- AAUMinho 2 2 – 0 AEIST 3
- AAC 4 0 – 3 AAUMinho 2
- AAUMinho 2 0 – 2 U. Porto 3
- AEIST 3 2 – 0 AAUMinho 2
In this way, in the final classification, the women’s team reached the third place and, thus, won a bronze medal. In turn, the mixed teams AAUMinho 2 and AAUMinho finished in fourth and seventh place, respectively. The men’s teams both finished in ninth place in the league table, tied with the same score.
