On February 14th and 15th, the Men’s Football team of the Academic Association of the University of Minho (AAUMinho) headed to Coimbra, to participate in the 2nd North Concentrated Day. Over the two days, the Minho formation had no defeat.
On the first day of competition, the team of the Minho Academy faced and won the Academic Association of the University of Beira Interior, by 2-0. On the 15th, AAUMinho returned to the pitch to play against the Academic Association of Coimbra. The match ended tied, by 0-0.
In five games played in both rounds, AAUMinho added four wins and a draw, which reflects its effectiveness and quality. In this way, the team moves to the 2nd phase of the competition, to be held in Aveiro, on March 21st and 22nd.
