From the 14th to the 16th of December, the Academic Association of the University of Minho (AAUMinho) organized, simultaneously with the 1st Concentrated Day (CD) of Women’s Volleyball, the 1st Concentrated Day (CD) of Men’s Volleyball. The Gualtar Sports Complex hosted seven men’s teams, including the Minho team, which won three of the four games they played.
On the first day of competition, AAUMinho faced and lost against the Academic Association of the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, by 2-1. On the 15th, the result was reversed and the home team won both games of the day, by 2-0, against the Academic Association of the University of Beira Interior and the Polytechnic Institute of Beja. On the last day, victory continued to smile at the Minho Academy, after winning the Academic Association of the University of Algarve, by 2-0.
With these results, AAUMinho is provisionally in the second place of the leaderboard. The group will return to the competition with the 2nd CD, in the Algarve, on the 14th and 15th of March.
